The following article, Two Anti-Trump RINOs Quit Fox News in Protest of Tucker Carlson’s Jan. 6 Reporting, was first published on Big League Politics.
Two anti-Trump RINOs, pundits Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes, have quit Fox News in protest of the Jan. 6 reporting by primetime ratings icon Tucker Carlson.
Goldberg and Hayes penned an article in The Dispatch claiming they departed from Fox News because of Carlson’s Patriot Purge series, which is exposing the federal involvement with fomenting violence at the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol rally.
“The special—which ran on Fox’s subscription streaming service earlier this month and was promoted on Fox News—is presented in the style of an exposé, a hard-hitting piece of investigative journalism. In reality, it is a collection of incoherent conspiracy-mongering, riddled with factual inaccuracies, half-truths, deceptive imagery, and damning omissions,” they whined.
“We made a promise to our readers and members that we’d challenge our own assumptions as we challenged theirs, and that we wouldn’t pull punches. The tension between doing that work well and remaining loyal to Fox has tested us many times over the past few years. But with the release of Patriot Purge, we felt we could no longer “do right as we see it” and remain at Fox News. So we resigned,” Goldberg and Hayes continued.
“We remain grateful for the opportunities we’ve had at Fox and we continue to admire many of the hard-working journalists who work there. This is our last recourse. We do not regret our decision, even if we find it regrettably necessary,” the authors concluded.
Big League Politics has reported on Carlson’s Patriot Purge series, which could not be cancelled despite the desperate efforts of the deep state to suppress the information:
“Primetime host Tucker Carlson’s documentary Patriot Purge, which seeks to tell the true story of the January 6 Election Integrity protest, has premiered despite a concerted pre-emptive effort by Deep State supporters and crooked political media types to censor the film. The three-part series is available to be streamed for free at TuckerCarlson.com.
Promotional materials make it clear that the film defies Right vs. Left political categorization, because it sharply skewers the George W. Bush administration and GOP-led “War on Terror” efforts. It also hints at information that could finally convince mainstream America that protesters who entered the U.S. Capitol — which Capitol Police ALLOWED — were encouraged to do so by a false flag operation orchestrated by federal informants and other “Glowies” in the protest crowd. As I reported, Robert Mueller has been formally investigated for his FBI’s alleged militia “Hoax” in Madisonville, Tennessee, which has given prosecutors a precedent to prosecute a January 6 protester on a rare gun charge. January 6 protesters currently held in D.C. jail are being tortured in ways that should alarm all of humanity. Here is the trailer for Tucker Carlson’s documentary:
Various Deep State supporters condemned Tucker Carlson’s documentary before it premiered, including CNN’s Anderson Cooper, a member of the historical slaveowning Vanderbilt family, and Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell, who is best known for having a relationship with a suspected Chinese spy named Fang Fang. The Anti-Defamation League has expressed their displeasure with Tucker’s Truther documentary. Dick Cheney’s daughter Liz Cheney, an unpopular Republican congresswoman, tried to suppress the movie by criticizing Fox and Rupert Murdoch for giving it a “platform.” Tucker Carlson has righteously exposed Swalwell and Liz Cheney on his 8 pm show on Fox News in recent days.”
Goldberg and Hayes will not be missed at Fox News. There is no room for these types of voices in the new Republican Party.
