JUSTICE SERVED: Texas Grand Jury Will Not Charge Brave Father Who Beat 5-Year-Old Daughter’s Molester To Death

Lavaca County, Texas grand jury declined to indict a 23-year-old young father who beat a 47-year-old man to death with his bare hands after finding out that the man molested his 5-year-old daughter.

According to witness testimony, in this case, the disgraced molester was “forcibly carrying” a girl to a secluded area on the family’s ranch. When the young and brave father heard his daughter screaming, he ran towards the suspect and pulled him off his child, and “inflicted several blows to the man’s head and neck area.”

The emergency crew found Flores’ pants and underwear pulled down on his lifeless body by the time they responded to the emergency call. The 5-year-old victim was then taken to the hospital. Forensic evidence and witness testimonies corroborated the father’s story.

According to authorities, the family had hired this disgraced molester earlier to help on the ranch. Who knew that this monster could cause such disturbing harm to the family’s innocent 5-year-old daughter.

In a tense 911 call, the father is heard describing the shocking incident to authorities. “I need an ambulance. This guy was raping my daughter and I don’t know what to do,” he said at one point.

“Come on! This guy is going to die on me!” he yelled at the 911 dispatcher. “I don’t know what to do.” He added.

Lavaca County District Attorney Heather McMinn remarked that under Texas law, deadly force is both “authorized and justified” in order to stop a sexual assault.

“The five-year-old victim had sustained some physical injuries that were… consistent with all of the witness statements,” she told reporters.

Local residents from the nearby town praised the ruling: “I think it’s great, they should have given him a medal for what he did, defending his daughter,” Leroy Wagner, 79, told the San Antonio Express-News. “Who wouldn’t have done that?” Wagner added.

Victor Casper, 65, a retired county worker, said, “If it was my kids, I would have done the same thing. I would have defended them, too.”

Authorities say a witness saw Flores ‘forcibly carrying’ the girl into a secluded area and then scrambled to find the father. Running toward his daughter’s screams, investigators said, the father pulled Flores off his child and ‘inflicted several blows to the man’s head and neck area.’

Emergency crews found Flores’ pants and underwear pulled down on his lifeless body by the time they responded to the 911 call.

The girl was taken to a hospital and examined, and authorities say forensic evidence and witness accounts corroborated the father’s story that his daughter was being sexually molested.

‘Under the law in the state of Texas deadly force is authorized and justified in order to stop an aggravated sexual assault or sexual assault,’ District Attorney Heather McMinn told reporters in June.

All the evidence provided by the sheriff’s department and the Texas Rangers indicated that’s what was occurring when the victim’s father arrived at the scene,’ she said.

Authorities said he expressed regret at the killing at the time, and no evidence so far has led them to doubt his story. The girl’s grandfather agreed it had been an accident.

‘My son. Sorry,’ the grandfather told the Victoria Advocate in broken English. ‘It was an accident.’

Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon added: ‘He was very remorseful. I don’t think it was his intent for the man to die.’

Residents of the small Lavaca County town were largely in support of the father, saying the victim deserved it.

Sonny Jaehne, a Shiner native, told the Victoria Advocate: ‘He got what he deserved, big time.

Friend Mark Harabis reiterated this: ‘I agree with him totally. I would probably do worse.

‘The family will have to deal with that the rest of their lives, no matter what happens to the father. Even if they let him go, he and his child will have to deal with that the rest of their lives.’
