Black Rifle Coffee Silent After Rittenhouse Verdict

Black Rifle Coffee, a company that disavowed Rittenhouse after he was seen wearing their t‑shirt, has remained silent on all social media accounts following his “not guilty” verdict.

Indeed, Rittenhouse took a post-bail photo wearing a Black Rifle Coffee shirt and BlazeTV host Elijah Schaffer posted the photo with the caption “Kyle Rittenhouse drinks the best coffee in America,” Breitbart reports.

Schaffer deleted the tweet and according to a company spokeswoman, they “did have a conversation with [him], and he understands that the post was a mistake.”

Evan Hafer, the company’s CEO, also issued a statement disavowing any relationship with Rittenhouse. “We do not sponsor nor do we have a relationship with the 17-year-old facing charges in Kenosha, WI.”

The company has since received backlash from those on team-right.

After their initial statement, Hafer released a second statement saying the company believes in the Constitution, the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms, and that a person is innocent until proven guilty, but reiterated the company did not sponsor Rittenhouse.
